The 2015 U.S. Open that just concluded over the weekend gave us numerous highlights to talk about. From Jordan Spieth’s incredible talent and belief that made him take the championship top honors to the numerous complaints that were raised by golfers all throughout the tournament. In fact, due to complaints, we witnessed what has not been very common with golf and that is the organizers changing a golf course due to an opinion that a player raised.
With the U.S. Open men’s version out-of-the-way, many are looking forward to the upcoming women’s edition of the U.S. Open with high hopes and for good reason. The women who are set to take the field for the tournament have shown that they indeed have what it takes to fight it out with the big boys at the events top honors.
all the greats who will be taking part, the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open will be missing one of its stars and that is hall of Famer Se Ri Pak. This will be the first time that Se Ri Pak will be missing out on the Women’s U.S. Open since she opted to be a member of the LPGA 17 years ago. In her home country South Korea, Se Ri Pak has helped in popularizing the game among the women in that country especially after winning her ever first major that was surprisingly at the U.S, Women’s Open.
